Katharina (Désirée Nosbusch) and Hektor (Matthias Brandt) no longer have anything to do with each other. Ten years ago, the two were still married – until an unprecedented event made them realise how far apart they had grown.
Now, the parents are forced to meet again: their adult daughter Lilith (Clara Vogt) is in custody. She is linked to a series of burglaries. Because the evidence against her is strong, Lilith must remain in prison until her hearing. While Hector alerts his friend, the solicitor Lydia (Kim Riedle), and is certain that she will quickly get Lilith out of custody, Katharina wants to take action herself. However, a visit to Lilith's flatmate Robert (Danilo Kamperidis) leaves Katharina and Hector deeply shaken: do they really know their daughter?
